Description and General Information: 

This is among the smallest of the dwarf forms of Picea pungens var. glauca or blue spruce. It is a bun-shaped selection with relatively long, sharp needles and very good blue coloration. New growth averages 5-8 cm per year, with plants reaching about 30 cm high by 60 cm wide in 10 years.

Cultivation: 

This spruce prefers full sun and well-drained soil.  It is not fussy about the soil pH. 

Propagation: 

This dwarf blue spruce can be propagated by current-season cuttings taken in September.  It may also be grafted.
