NARGS Speakers Database

Submitted by Peter George on Sat, 06/05/2010 - 13:41

I've been asked by Grazyna Grauer to compile an up to date list/database of all potential speakers for both NARGS National and the Chapters. Obviously this is a big job, and let's call this a beginning. If you, or anyone you know, has spoken to a chapter or at some regional or national meeting, or has any INTEREST in doing so, please contact me @ [email protected]. This is for all potential speakers, anywhere in the world.

Thanks in advance,

Peter

In Memorium, Anita Kistler

One of the wonderful rock gardeners and member of NARGS for a LONG TIME, Anita Kistler, died at home on Thursday, 22 April.

I have been asked by NARGS to gather information on Anita Kistler and put together a short article about her that could be published in either the NARGS Quarterly or in the President's note that comes out with the Quarterly.

Lori Chips, alpine manager at Oliver Nurseries, has informed NARGS that Martha Stewart plans a segment next week Thurs., April 8th on rock gardening, specifically "Wrightman-style sandwich crevice planting."

However, the time and date of broadcasts vary around the country for the Martha Stewart Show. Below are two Web site links that might be helpful in finding the time and date of broadcast of the rock gardening segment in your locale:
