Podophyllum hexandrum

Forums:

Amazing variation in this species. Mine has pathetic patterned leaves and is trifoliate. The ones I grew from seed and planted at work have spectacular foliage....just my luck!

Can't you divide it?
My Indian mayapples are much leaves and small flowers transforming to "apples" now. None with extraordinary leaves.

Not quite ready to harvest the fruit is at that interesting stage where the skin colouring deepens.

Cheers Dave.

Podophyllum is a wonderful genus. I love the one with the speckled leaves, Todd.

There are some nice pics of plants of this genus here: http://www.greenmilenursery.be/photo_podophyllum.html
Also, for the people who happen to visit the discussion weekend of the SRGC, there's a talk about Podophyllum and Paris by Clint Callens, a very knowledgeable young breeder of this genus from Belgium
