I cannot seem to find any cultural tips on germinating Delphinium alpestre. Has anyone grown this beauty from seed? I will be getting fresh seed and my instincts tell me to sow it now, keep it watered, and then overwinter it outside. Comments I think your instinct sounds I think your instinct sounds dead on... after all, that's what happens in nature, right? I've never grown any Delphiniums from fresh seed, only from dried seed, after which a few weeks of cold stratification seems to do the trick. Good luck with it. I think you've got the ticket there!
