Why bother walking in the mountains!

So they don't collect seeds and cuttings on the way down?

Obviously not. Can't see any bags or secateurs :-\ They're close enough anyway :rolleyes:

To answer the title of this post, the reason to walk in the mountains, is not to flaunt a death-wish flying down a mountain like Rocky the squirrel. (google "Rocky and Bullwinkle" if you don't know the reference)

I have no wish at all to do anything like it but it fascinate me that somebody actually do such things.

Too funny.  Eventually your nickname transitioned into Rock, short for "Rock Gardener"  ;)

I suppose the reason the human flying squirrels have those smoke cans attached to their legs is so they can be found (and the bodies retrieved )  more easily when they smash into a tree or a cliff?  :o :-\
