The Traveling Speakers Program in 2026 is funded by donations from the New England, Piedmont, and
Delaware Valley chapters of NARGS as well as NARGS general funds. Some plans are still under development, so please check the
NARGS website, chapter websites, or your local chapter leadership for updates and details as plans are
developed and finalized.

Nargs is sponsoring a trip in July 2014 to explore the alpine flora of California in the Sierra Nevada.
One of the trip leaders is an experienced botanist Stew Winchester, who earlier led a trip to the Ruby Mountains for NARGS. This is a great opportunity to view summer wildflowers at their expected peak-blooming time.
NARGS 2015 – Back to Alpines
The 2015 NARGS Annual General Meeting will be held in Ann Arbor May 7-10 at Weber's Inn, 3050 Jackson Road, Ann Arbor, MI, 48103. The host will be the NARGS Great Lakes Chapter.
The NARGS Endowment Fund was set up in 1983 upon the recommendation of Norman Singer, the society’s secretary, and approved by the board in 1984. The interest accruing from the funds in the endowment was restricted to special projects, rather than operations of the society. In 1992, the NARGS board adopted guidelines for use of the funds and a committee appointed to recommend grants.
