There is less than a month remaining to register for NARGS 23 in Truro, Nova Scotia before the May 10, 2023 registration deadline. To register on-line press the “Register Now” symbol on the “nargs23.org” conference website. We currently have received 87 registrations and are expecting over 100 by the time registration closes. We are finalizing the program and tours and updating information on the website. Information postings on the local Truro tours are now on the website as well as the addition of a second speaker for Saturday, June 10, Todd Boland who will speak on “The Limestone Barrens of Newfoundland – Inspiration for two limestone rockeries.”
The post conference tour to Brier Island currently has 19 participants and due to the number of booked rooms we can only accommodate a few more registrations. Please register on line on the nargs23.org registration site.

The conference will take place from Thursday June 8 to Sunday June 11 at the Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus in Truro Nova Scotia.
The program will feature field trips, speakers and time to meet other rock gardeners from across North America.
The Agricultural Campus has a highly acclaimed Rock Garden with acidic granite rock and new limestone crevice garden.
All breakfasts, receptions and banquets will be in the Riverside Room on campus and accommodation will be available both on campus and in local hotels.
The program will feature the very rich diversity of plant habitats in Nova Scotia from coastal barrens, gypsum deposits and the Acadian forest. Speakers will include an Introduction to Mi’kma’ki, the legends of Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia flora as well as national and international rock garden specialists.
