Issoleie (Norwegian), Ranunculus glacialis syn Beckwithia glacialis, is the species of flowering plants that grows at the highest altitude in the mountains of Norway. The flowers are white when they open but change gradually to a more reddish color when fertilized.
This is however, one of the reddest populations I have ever seen.
