NARGS Cornell Annual Meeting Cancelled
Cornell University, our venue for the 2020 Annual General Meeting, has now canceled our event scheduled for June 18 - 20 due to the COVID-19 virus. Cornell will be notifying all registrants next week and will explain the refunding process. You will receive refund in full sent directly to each registrant, including your reservation, if applicable, for residence hall accommodations and/or the Syracuse day tour. If you purchased campus parking, ParkMobile, a separate entity, has already sent a cancellation email to you a few days ago notifying you of your refund. Please check your in-boxes.
For those who made lodging with Best Western University, they have been notified, and you do not need to cancel. If you reserved a room at Clarion Inn University, they will send an email to you directly to cancel.
If you signed up for either the NARGS Adirondack pre- or Hudson Valley post-tours, David White, will be contacting you with details of your refund. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to David who organized the tours. He must now cancel with all the motels, buses, etc., so your patience is appreciated. Then he will have time to contact you.
We wish to thank the Adirondack Chapter for all the hard work they have put into this event. And give a big hand to Carol Eichler who has put in just as many hours to cancel as to set up this conference. And, we express our dismay at missing the gardens. There is talk of shooting videos or photos of the gardens on the itinerary to display on our website. Let's hope we may all still share their glory.
