That pic was taken a few days ago and the Paeonia cambessedesii is now flowering,

Yes, Trond, it would be worth growing for the foliage alone!

Here it is this morning in full flower - I'm not the only one to enjoy it!

Gorgeous!  That is amazing foliage.  If I have room for one more peony, it should be that one!

I can understand that bee, the flowers are to be enjoyed at close encounter! They're not second to the leaves.
