Bulbous Iris

My first iris opened today...good ole Katherine Hodgkin...several other reticulata are poking through.

That's nice! She is one of the most reliable irises here.
I could see the color of some other cultivar when I left, a yellow one.
Here are the yellow bunch today. Think it is Iris danfordiae.

Yes, it is I. danfordiae...I've grown it but it only grows as an annual around here...I've never managed to get to to rebloom.

Yes, those are first year. Here they usually last two-three years but someone told they like deep planting. So I tried to plant deeper this time.
