Hi everybody,
I introduce myself to you!
My name in topics and forum was Botanica , i have studying plant biology & physiology and molecular biology and i have a passion about plants.
Most i read, topics and website about plant, most i realize that i know few plants. What a biodiversity !
I start my litlle and personnal "Botanical" Garden that i saw 4 years ago and i have around 400 species in my garden.
I was always looking for new species and hydrids of Alpines, Perennials, and hardy Orchids for the biodiversity of my garden.
The garden was in Ardennes and me near Paris (for the Job).
I exchange some plants or seed with many poeple this year (all over the world) and i hope you can help me to have new plant (from seed essentially).
It's a extraordniary project to start with new seed, germinate and see grow the new plant in garden....you know?..Very exiting !
I am a new SRGC members (September 2012) and i have a passion for Cypripedium (about 10 species, 50 Adult plants and 200 young plants).
I am interested so about Alpines and i create a rockgarden , i start this project recently and search new plant to realize and create the litlle project.
I have a Education Project (Germination Project 2013) , i search donnator for this project with young poeple (about 6-7 years) to present the plant Cycle (Seed to Seed life of plant) , and i have keep the idea too present the Alpines diversity with powerpoint slide and we would studying the seeding, germination and grow cycle of some Alpines.
I receveid some species for this next two month but we need some other Alpines species (most easy it's possible) .
If your are question , i am open too response.
Cordially yours and See you soon in topics and Personals Messages !
Persona notes, Hello Lori Skulski (my generous donator ! ) ;D ;D ;D

I have lots of Polemonium caeruleum seed at my mountain cabin where it grows very well and spread but unfortunately no here at home. I am not going up there till February. . . .
Your garden in Ardennes looks great, Botanica. What is the altitude where you garden?

My (or to be correct my wife's) mountain cabin is 950m a.s.l. near Nesbyen in Hallingdal. The mountains there are not alpine but more undulating hills at and above the forest limit. In recent years the forest has steadily crept to a higher altitude though so a lot more is wooded now than when my father-in-law was a shepherd. The winters are cold but not utterly so (down to -35C at the coldest but usually between - 10 to -20C in winter. The spring is late and the summers can be warm at least in periods. It is probably snow covered by now.
Unfortunately I have run out seeds now as I don't collect much, usually only what people ask for.

I'm catching up on topics I missed, so I will say a late welcome/bienvenue!
