Rhododendrons are truly some of the most beautiful plants created by nature. Both the diversity of species, of which there are more than one thousand, and the variety of natural conditions to which they adapt, are impressive. They can range in form from enormous trees of 80 feet (25 m), to cushion-like shrubs of four to twelve inches (10-30 cm) in size. In this article, I am going to share the tiny rhododendrons that I have observed since my childhood in my homeland on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk in eastern Russia. I am going to talk about the Kamchatka rhododendron.
