Just been catching up with the Conference via the SRGC Forum where Maggi has been re-posting some pics from Bobby Ward and others' Facebook pages. I'm not on FB so I'm glad she has been able to do that to keep n touch.
sigh! One day we'll get back to the States and maybe even get to a NARGS event!

The 6th edition of the Atlantic Canada Rare and Unusual Plant Sale has grown into a Rare and Unusual Weekend with the addition of a Saturday Seminar Series. The event takes place on May 16th, and 17th in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. Our keynote speaker is Harvey Wrightman, of Wrightman Alpines. His topic will be "Alpines and Rock Gardens".
Is anybody else having trouble with the surplus seed order form? I've spent a frustrating hour trying to input my selections, and it keeps bogging down after about 30-40 selections.

Just a quick note to let everyone know the seed exchange is now open to members. Please read the instructions for ordering on 'Ordering Information - Read First' page. If you need a pdf or txt file of the seed list look for them on the 'Downloadable Seed Files" page.
The photo on this year's seed list cover is of Trillium flexipes hybrid from my garden that was originally collected in SE Michigan. And yes there is seed of it in the list...seed #2415.

does anyone know how to convert the past pdf Seedex files to Excel? I did it once a while ago, but can't figure out how to do it again.
the pdf format is very odd and online conversion tools I tried are not working.
It would be very nice if the Excel format was available online! It would be much more useful than a pdf.
Well, I think these questions should go to the webmaster, anyway. At any rate I'd appreciate it if someone gets these questions to the right person because I couldn't figure out how.
Hello fellow lurkers. Scheduling for the 2015 speakers tour will commence in earnest starting in early August, 2014. Please alert your chapter speaker chair that requests should be made to me by the end of this month to assure the best possibility of inclusion in the tour. See the speakers tab on the NARGS website home page for further details, please note the the Fall Western tour with Jerry Kral will be in October, not September - October as stated in the Quarterly.
