Chlidanthus fragrans

I just bought a couple bulbs of Chlidanthus fragrans, and will plant them today in baskets. Supposedly, they are not winter hardy. Any experience with them?

I decided to plant them in a pot that can be stored in a cold, but not quite frozen, garage over the winter. Once they multiply, I'll try one outside  in a protected spot.
