Ooh, the silver on those leaves is so intense, really brightens up a shady spot. So far, I haven't gone for any of these as they are so darned expensive, and I already have one very expensive habit... epimediums! Looking forward to seeing the other cultivars, ones that I'm not familiar with.
So while having a very hard week of work , i have taken new pictures of some Brunnera
First one is Brunnera macrophylla
Next one is Brunnera macrophylla 'Betty Bowering' with very nice white flowers. I like this cultivar.
A cultivar that looses his leafcolor sometimes is Brunnera macrophylla 'Variegata'. I returns to green leaves then :-(
An other cultivar is Brunnera macrophylla 'Langtrees' with some silver dots on the leave
There are some other cultivars like 'Hadspen Cream' ( i hope to take a picture in the future, i forgot it) , 'Looking Glass' (looks a little like a 'Jack Frost' but i prefer 'Jack Frost') and other

Mon, 05/24/2010 - 1:24amI have not 'Jack Frost' but the common species is roaming in my woodland! 'Jack Frost' seems to have much better color of the leaves though.
