So, constantly wet conditions
Sun, 05/18/2014 - 10:20amSo, constantly wet conditions? From reading Graham NIcholl's Dwarf Campanula and Associated Genera, it does seem that Campanula excisa can be a bit of a tricky one that does prefer constant moisture... (which doesn't bode well for my potful of seedlings.) Interesting that the leaves die off before flowering.
What I see growing in seeps in the mountains here are Saxifraga lyallii, Romanzoffia sitchensis, some of the small saxifrages like Saxifraga caespitosa, S. aizoides...
Hmm, will have to think about this. I hope other members will chip in!
