Who am I?

This appeared in the garden a few days ago. Any ideas who I am?

Hi, Ronaldo!  Welcome to the site.  Could you add a photo of the entire plant, please?

Actually, Ron has been a regular here, but with the migration to the new forum format, forum USERNAMES may have changed to a default setting, this is previous NARGS Forum user Longma. :-)

But I too am intrigued by the mystery plant, need to see the leaves too.

I finally remembered... it looks like Digitalis grandiflora with a peloric flower:

Well played Lori, 100% correct. It really is a most unusual thing to see atop a 'normal' Digitalis plant.

Mark, is there any hope of being able to revert back to my old user name ?

I just tried the following, and it worked to change my profile name:

- at the top of the NARGS page, is a link with your assigned username, for me it was McDonough. Click that link, to access your profile information, click on the Edit tab, drop your cursor into the Username field, change it to what you want, then click Save at the bottom left of that page. Afterwards, you should be able to login using your new username and same password, I just changed mine to be Mark McD, and it worked fine.  I have forum administrative privileges, hopefully it will work the same for you, as a regular forum user.

Thanks for trying Mark. Unfortunately it won't let me change my username at all. It seems there is no username field for me, just a fixed display of the user name. Its not a big thing, just makes me feel more comfortable!! Other than this, after an initial period of gloom, I am finding this new Forum a slight improvement on the old one. But it has taken some getting used to and perseverance. I'm sure there are things that need tweaking but some of the features are a big improvement.

Thanks for letting me know, it seems regular forum users do not have access to their profile name based on what you tell me. When I check your profile, I do have edit-access to the Username field, and I can change it for you.  Should it go back to being Longma?

Seems the title of this thread was more suitable than I thought when I started it!!

Okay, I changed your profile name to Longma, use that name for future logins. Indeed your message title was prophetic :-)
