The morning program will be held at the Education Center of the Berkshire Botanical Garden, 5 West Stockbridge Road, at the intersection of Routes 102 and 183 in Stockbridge, MA. For a map of and directions to the Garden, click here and scroll under "Visit."
For our Annual Luncheon we will drive to the nearby Aegean Breeze Restaurant, Great Barrington, MA (http://aegean-001-site1.site4now.net).
November's program features noted landscape designer, author, and primula expert Kris Fenderson. His subject,“Pot Bound: Lessons learned from 45 years of trial and error in a New Hampshire Garden", relates experiences at Grout Hill Farm, where he and his partner Alston Barrett have carved an outstanding garden in the rural hillside around their 1797 home in Acworth, NH. This display of rare trees, shrubs, and incredible primroses is frequently open for tours by the Garden Conservancy and other horticultural groups.
For the Luncheon, send a $10.00 reservation payment per person (it will be subtracted from your individual bill at the restaurant). The check should be made payable to the Aegean Breeze and forwarded to:
12 Overbrook Farm Road
Bloomfield, CT 06002
For questions about the restaurant or reservations, call (860) 286-0128. The deadline for making reservations is October 31.
