Plant Sale

For our morning program, Millstream Garden Award winner and noted gardener Anne Spiegel will revisit fabulous plants now not commonly grown in her lecture entitled "Ignored Plants". These are plants that graced everyone's rock or woodland garden twenty years ago. Most are very hardy, easy to grow and return great reward each spring and summer.

After lunch, Elisabeth Zander will present a contrasting look at the gardens east and west of Robin Magowan and Juliet Matilla in "Suprise - Expanding the Palette". In their Salisbury garden, limestone crevices were featured, planted with all manner of rare plants. In their new Santa Fe garden, Robin and Juliet have made an eagle's roost atop a high mountain, planting the natural crevices as well as constructed ones. Yes, rock gardeners can continue to grow their repertoire.

Please bring donations from your gardens for our Plant Sale. This is an important source of income for our chapter.
