Tks, Roland, most of the asters around here are no longer 'Asters' so I presumed this one was the same
The last edition of Flora of Alberta was a few years ago, so they were all still Aster there...lol although there could be varying opinions on that switch, anyway, I have not read anything about the arguments pro or con..

Sometimes it drives you mad
all those name changes
for me it's simple
Don't change a name if you aren't 1000% sure
to many times a name changes a few times
by the time you are used to it they change it again
