FAQ - Bug fix - jumpy message window (Internet Explorer 8 users)

If you use Internet Explorer 8, you may notice that longer topics have an irksome trait of 'jumping' around when your post is longer than the basic message window. There is a workaround.
The problem in IE8 is addressed in this item
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/features/easier.aspx
It addresses the COMPATABILITY VIEW of websites that are not ready for IE8.
To address the problem on my IE8 browser, I went to tools > compatability view settings and added nargs.org to the mix. Alternately, if you don't have the compatability view icon on your address bar, add it and click on it when you need it, whether on this site or any others you may suspect have problems related to the browser in question.
