Have just joined this excellent forum.
My name is Martin Tversted and I come from Denmark, Scandinavia.
My garden is located in what would be zone 6 in the heart of Jutland, the mainland of Denmark. I have earlier lived near the coast and could grow a lot of things which is impossible now. I use to grow hundreds of cold hardy opuntioids but have reduced that part of the collection drastically.
My main focus areas are;
1. yuccas. I grow most non-arborescent hardy species.Most with locality data. I have started to hybridize the genus. The most exciting part of that is the flaccia x nana seeds I produced last year.Will be interesting to see what they turn out to be this year!
2. hardy mesembs. I grow a lot of cold hardy mesembs and will expand it this year. I have created serverel new cultivars of Delosperma though not all are worth commercialisation Smiley And serverel are already in Delosperma heaven...
3. Cold hardy carnivorous plants. Growing many european Pinguiculas, Droseras from europe and the us, Sarracenia and hybrids etc. Particular interested in S. purpurea with data.
4. kniphofia. I grow a few dozen species and hybrids of Kniphs. Very nice plants!

5. And all the rest!

Welcome, Martin!  I am looking forward to seeing more photos of yours.  They are so easy to post here!

(And I think we all do "all the rest" too.  You'll fit right in. Grin)

Hello Martin, a hearty welcome to NARGS Forum!

I would love to learn more about your new cultivars of Delosperma; it is a group I am only just starting with but find them fascinating.  Hardiness (or lack of hardiness) are issues to be explored with these wonderful plants, so I hope to learn from your experience with them.

I also specialize in "all the rest", so we have much in common! Grin
