FAQ - Messages - Outbox is empty, where is the Sentbox?

The Personal Message system on the NARGS Forum is a little different than more full-featured email systems.  On the NARGS Forum, there is simply an Inbox & Outbox, the Outbox is equivalent to a "Sentbox" or "Sent Mail" view.

When sending a message to another forumist, check the box "Save a copy in my outbox" to preserve a copy of the sent message in your Outbox (see photo 1).  By default, this option is unchecked, and can be a nuisance to remember to check it each time a message is sent.

To permanently turn this option on, do the following (see photo 2):

1   On the main Forum menu, click on Profile

2   On the Modify Profile menu on the left side, click on Personal Message Options

3   Make sure "Save a copy of each Personal Message in my outbox by default" is checked.

4   Optional: set the behavior on how you want to be notified about new Personal Messages on the forum.

5.  Click the Change Profile button.
