Hello Kees, welcome to NARGS Forum!  What's the actual name of the Facebook Viola gallery in the link above, it might be a closed group that requires being approved first, as the link does not work for me. With the actual name I should be able to find it and apply for membership.

Reminder NARGS forumists:  links to Facebook most likely will not work for you, unless you are a Facebook member. There's an amazing amount of plant-related material moving to Facebook; it might be worth considering a Facebook account, just to participate in plant-related activities.

You're quick Maggi, was just about to post!  That is the correct link.

Searching Marcela Ferreyra on Facebook comes up with a number of people with the same name, the first one (subtitled San Carlos de Bariloche) is the correct one.  Once on the FB page, go to Photos, two photo albums of interest are named:
"Violas patagónicas"
http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/?set=a.3525730497660.2136995.1104065894&type=3

"Alta Montaña Mendocina".

By the way everyone, if you want to lose a few hours (or days) gawking at great plant photos from around the world, click on Kees' weblink in his signature block:
http://keesjan.smugmug.com

There's an astounding number of photos, such as the album of botanical trips to Europe, Asia, Africa, N & S America, with 60,147 photos! Or go to "Plants organized by families" with 27,472 photos.  Enjoy.

Kees, thanks for all your effort putting such photo galleries together for all to enjoy and benefit from. Good to find you here on this side of the pond too Smiley

Uhm, this just started as an online backup of my pictures and much more selection of pictures needs to be done at some stage Shocked. But most galleries will be more condensed in future, like http://keesjan.smugmug.com/Botanical-trips/Europe/La-Palma/ and http://keesjan.smugmug.com/Botanical-trips/Europe/La-Gomera/ in future. More convenient for visitors  Smiley . Selecting pictures is quite time consuming though and I rather spend time in the field  Smiley.

Great pictures, Ger.

The thing about South American flora is how much I don't know about it.  So I will remedy that by going to Patagonia with Ger this November.  His pictures are too good an enticement -- I want to see them in the wild!
