Flowering for the first time!

Todd, I'm no expert on Asarum, or the American genus Hexastylis (apparently this plant is accepted as H. speciosa), the flowers on your plant don't look like a match for H. speciosa... sorry to deliver the news.  Rather hard to locate good photos of this plant, but I did manage to find some that show the rather unique flowers.  Not sure what species of Asarum or Hexastylis you have there.  Do you know its provenance?  H. speciosa is native to Alabama.

Very nice, Todd!  How interesting that this one seems to hold its flowers up, rather than hidden at ground level.  (The Asarum that I have experience with, seem to bloom mainly for the ants to enjoy -  I usually miss the flowers!)
