Never mind Cliff, I'm sure you will have a very interesting time, always still of my wishes to see Raoulia eximia in its natural habitat.
Anyway, we return again to Argentina in November and December. Our group is almost complete. Perhaps one or two more could join but thats the level.

And I am one of the lucky guys!
Hope we'll find as many plants as you did last time! Marvellous Shocked
Ger, we have to walk barefoot I suppose, not to destroy those delicate plants Wink

We arrive on April 5th. Got an invitation from Carol to be juror on the show on April 6th. So in that case we could see you.

There you go again Maggi, I lost about 3 hrs revisiting these pages! Grin  Although I do recommend everyone check out all the links Maggi provided and look through the whole threads, the plants and photography quality are fantastic.

Cheesy  For those of us who are only armchair botanisers, such links are a lifeline - and you probably needed a break from your work, Mark!

many thanks for all the compliments. Yes Argentina is a wonderful place on earth with so many unknown plants for many of us.
We are returning at the end of the year again to Neuquen. This trip is actually a repetition of the Rosulate Viola tour we did in 2010.
The tour is complete now with 14 participants, however for room sharing it would be fine if there was joining an additional male.
So that means Mr. Cohan or someone else, if you like, take your chance.

If I win the lottery soon, or lose a long-lost rich relative, you will hear from me Wink Grin
Meanwhile, we will look forward to pictures Smiley

For those of you on Facebook, increasingly there's some good plant stuff there, and I just came across this gallery with some exquisite photos of rosulate Viola spacies:

There are some stunning closeup views of rosulate violets in this gellery. There's one mislabeled photo that actually shows Hamadryas kingii (Ranunculaceae)  but don't let that distract you. There's also a species I've not seen photographed before, Viola polycephala.  Enjoy!
