Happy Solstice to all, whether you are celebrating mid-summer or winter!
One image from outdoors a few days ago, and the indoor flowers (Mammillaria sciedeana and M laui subducta- thank heavens for winter flowering plants
are from today, right on time for the solstice!

Cohan, you guessed it - I swiped it from Stuart's backcountry ski trip pics from last week.
I'm afraid I'm pretty sloth-like in winter, as I've mentioned before, though I love visiting Panorama Ridge in summer!

Much rather go in summer myself...lol We did go up to Kootenay Plains once in mid-winter and it was lovely- including some time walking around on the frozen but bare river! But snowfall is moderate to low there, and no long stretch of dicey highway to get there..
