Did you have any success finding seed, John ?
I'm interested in it too, but I think the availability of such rare seed is very restricted.

Looks pretty cute! So the 'rosea' flowers are the new ones and they then turn yellow?

Cohan, according to the last link, the flowers open yellow then age to orange-red.
Sure would like to give this one a whirl.

from Seattle, Washington, might be a good resource in the future. The Fringe Nursery listing has 2 Balsamorhiza species listed, unfortunately not B. rosea (which is found in Washington to Oregon).
