Primula parryi
ID: 3040
Categories:

This photograph is the one and only time that I have found Primula parryi with each flower at its peak. Usually there are one or two that are beginning to fade or haven't fully opened. Photographed in the Uinta Mountains of Utah at 11,300' at the edge of a boulder field.

Primula minima
ID: 165
Categories:

Photographed near Passo Pordoi, Val Gardena, Italy, in the Italian Dolomites near 8000 ft. This was the second year we botanized in these alpine meadows, and returned two weeks earlier this year, with the hope that we would see this colony of P. minima in bloom. We we're lucky to target this date perfectly. Photo by Matt Mattus
